Winter is the parts gathering season. That way you’re staring at that stuff for so long that when the weather warms up you have all the motivation to get it finally installed.

Group-N is a dangerously slippery slope.

eh, I’m not in the least bit advocating for adjustable stuff, that’s all totally unnecessary in most cases. S-techs are just known to suck, there are better lowering springs that barely cost more especially used.

I’m aware of their reviews, i.e. that NASIOC considers them a downgrade :D
I’ll retain my struts and springs, and having these ones as a complete set means I can swap them back with little hassle.
but for $150 I was willing to take a chance and try the ride out myself. The struts are supposedly an upgrade, according to the previous owner, aswell, so we’ll see.
to be honest, I went for the RS impreza over the WRX as I just wanted a good looking daily, so this particular mod is more about looks than funciton, and I’m ok with that poor decision

some form of adjustability will likely be essential if I dont want my camber to look like that of a broken automobile :D

Eh.. There’s nothing that says you’re obligated to have performance intentions. If looks are the goal then, it’s not a poor decision.
Gotta remember it’s not just a 150$ mod theres an alignment that’s gonna need done and who knows what other maintenance items will become required during install. I wouldn’t be shocked to see the total cost swell to 400$

I have swaybars sitting in my living room and they will likely stay there until the end of March, at least. At that point a warm weekend may finally have the itch to install parts overcome my unwillingness to freeze my fingers off.

I broke a windshield wiper the other day, foolishly pulling it up when it was frozen to the window, I’ve got the new wipers, and I’m confident I will be installing them during a snowstorm.

Haha, I too have a new set of wipers in my trunk that I’ve also lacked the motivation to install. Same goes for a couple of LED bulbs for the C lights in my headlights that looks shitty and yellow on base model cars like mine. They will get installed, eventually.
